My first child was born on 2/8/08 at 8:03am.  Her name is Kailey and she was 7 pounds 13 ounces and 21 inches long at birth.   We are getting adjusted to being parents, it is hard work!  She is precious.

Today I took off the Discussion Forums and the Traveling Treasure section of National Adventure.  I don’t think I will have the time to keep up with those sections of the website.  It wouldn’t have been as hard if I wasn’t constantly getting spam.

I am working on a new photography gallery called - Family Photography.  This will be section devoted to my family and everyone is invited to view those photos as well.

Thanks for coming to my site.  Lately I have had to turn off comments/guestbook/forums/etc.  There is an unbelievable amount of spam coming to my site and I have not been able to figure out how to stop it and still allow comments.  Sorry for any inconvenience.  Please look through my photos and hopefully I can start adding new ones soon.  I still like the idea of Traveling Treasure but I don’t know if I will be able to open up my forums again.

Just a thanks to those who have continued to check out my website over the past year.  :)  I have not had the time lately to do much with it.  I am on here daily though deleting spam.  I don’t know how to stop it except to close out all discussions, forums, comments, guestbook, etc.  I am closing the guestbook for now.  It is getting ridiculous, I have 10-20 spam/porn messages a day.  Some people have no lives.

On December 20, 2006 my first niece was born! She was 7lb 5oz at birth. She is really a great addition to the family!

New Baby!

Just wanted to let people know I am still around. I have been busy with work and too tired at night to do much. It is much easier to work on the website during the summer. I will try to get some new photos up soon.

One of my travel bugs on geocaching.com has now been to Europe and Mexico!

Well I finally joined a gym. I had been jogging 4 miles every day around the neighborhood and lost a lot of weight. Jogging really gets the pounds off. The slimmer you get the more people think you look unhealthy. It is weird how people think…if you are overweight then you are unhealthy, when you lose weight they say you look unhealthy. I decided that I need to start building my muscles to look healthier and get in better shape.
I bought a dumbbell bench for the house and got some weights. I tried working on the bench on a set schedule but being at the house is too easy to get distracted. I found a gym called Planet Fitness that only charges 10 bucks a month so I joined. I have been working on just about every muscle group on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. When I am done with the weights I do my jogging on a treadmill. I am still jogging every day but sometimes it is on the treadmill and sometimes outside.

I am also taking Creatine now. I just got finished with the loading phase. I have not noticed any huge changes since I started taking it but I am going to keep taking 5 grams per day.

I found my 100th geocache today!  I am still amazed that there are some people around me that have found over 4000 geocaches!  That is insane, I am happy that I have found 100.  :)  It makes me feel like less of a “newbie” now that I have some caches logged.

I have found a lot of caches lately.  I have also been picking up a lot of Travel Bugs and helping them along.  I bought 8 new travel bugs and they should be coming in the mail soon.  I already have ideas for what types of travel bugs I want them to be.  :)  I also just got a new walking stick today to help me with my hiking.
This has been a busy summer for us.  We spent some time up north in Indiana and then my parents came down to Florida to spend some time with us.  We just got back from Clearwater Beach where we had a relaxing 3 night stay.   We went to Pier 60 at night and saw dolphins jumping out of the water!  I felt like I was at Seaworld.  :)  On the way back from finding a cache in Clearwater we saw a mom and baby dolphin swimming.

On the sad/mad side when we got back home we saw that our street was vandalized.  Down the corner from us some punks spraypainted the street and street signs.  I just don’t understand why people feel like they need to do that.  We had the police come out and they said they couldn’t do anything about that.  I guess we just live in a dump…

Sorry I have not done much with my website the last couple of weeks.  I just got back from a vacation in Indiana visiting family.  I am going to get some new pictures soon.

I see that someone is spamming my guestbook which is not appreciated.  It is not worth it because all they are doing is posting URLs and I have now made it so most of the URLs won’t work.  They are wasting their time.

Alright, I sent another Travel Bug out into the wild!  I was going to make a gorilla travel bug but my watch died so I decided to make my old watch into one.  :)  Click HERE to see its webpage and watch it travel.  My wife and I have been to Italy and Hawaii so I gave it the “mission” to travel back to those areas.  A travel bug costs 5 dollars for each dog tag so I am hoping he does not get lost.  Sometimes people lose them or keep them so they sometimes go missing.
